Be sure to check-out the Photo Gallery for all the photographs of this amazing pumpkin. On Saturday, August 12th, 2006, I was at Sticks and Stones Garden Centre in Campbell River picking up some more SEA SOIL™. They suggested that I let you know the success we have had with SEA SOIL™. In the summer of 2005 we pulled up all our lawn in the backyard, regraded and created some new garden beds. These beds consist primarily of turned over sod, sand and poor topsoil with a layer of SEA SOIL™ over the top. A friend of mine mentioned to me that if I wanted to solve our lack of greenery problem we should grow a giant pumpkin. Not expecting anything over about ten pounds due to the poor soil in the garden beds I splurged and top-dressed the bed with a new, thick layer of SEA SOIL™ this spring. Needless to say, our pumpkin absolutely loves being fed with SEA SOIL™. As pumpkins are shallow rooted, I know that the key to their success lies in the first few inches of compost. As of today, August 13th, pumpkin weighs approximately 824 lbs and is well on its way to becoming a true giant! Thank you very much for producing a product that has been so beneficial both for our pumpkin and the rest of our garden.

Thank you for such a wonderful product. I started using SEA SOIL™ last fall. I top dressed some of perennials that were in difficult areas that were not doing well. Well - they flourished in the spring. They had never looked so good! I was hooked! I ordered several yards of SEA SOIL™ and mulched my many, many garden beds. I also added it to my barrels and containers. The fuchsias this year were fabulous! We water from a well, so water conservation is always an issue. SEA SOIL™ proved to be a wonderful mulch because it absorbed and held the moisture so well. I will now use SEA SOIL™ exclusively as a soil amendment and mulch. Thanks

Last year I purchased 5 yards of SEA SOIL™ and mulched my garden beds. The results were amazing! The summer perennials grew and bloomed as never before. This spring the rhododendrons have bloomed profusely along with all the other spring bulbs and perennials. I have recommended SEA SOIL™ to many of my gardening friends.

Not the Landfill. All of our bags, pallets and pallet wrap can be recycled. Our plastic is made from no. 4 LDPE (Low-density polyethylene) plastic which can be recycled by returning clean, dry, empty plastic bags to recycling drop off centers or retailers and municipalities (curbside collection also) that provide designated plastic bag recycling. Wooden pallets can be reused or recycled at designated wood recycling areas with your municipality.
We believe that all soils should have a required minimum set of testing standards when it comes to growing. That is why we contacted O.M.R.I. years ago to start the process of approving SEA SOIL. We regularly test our SEA SOIL for heavy metals, ecoli and even fecal coliforms to make sure SEA SOIL is the best choice for gardeners and growers.
