Every year I love the color annuals and potted plants bring to my yard, it is like an awakening after a cold, wet winter. I love color and I love annuals in pots as you can relocate them for parties and decorate your homes exterior in vibrant color. I have always used SEA SOIL Original as my potting soil but it requires a little knowledge about watering (It retains a lot of moisture) and wet SEA SOIL alone can get really heavy.

Enter SEA SOIL Potting Soil, a perfect mixture of Original SEA SOIL mixed with your choice of Peat Moss or and Eco-alternative like coco coir. This Potting soil is well balanced and contains a time-release fertilizer so I never add a fertilizer after I plant. Potting Mix with SEA SOIL is also OMRI listed and safe to use with growing vegetables or fruit. I can be lazy about watering so I love that SEA SOIL Potting mix is light but still retains moisture well. Potting plants is simple for me when I use this product. I add the soil, then the plant, then water - Simple.

Growing Your Soil

Not the Landfill. All of our bags, pallets and pallet wrap can be recycled. Our plastic is made from no. 4 LDPE (Low-density polyethylene) plastic which can be recycled by returning clean, dry, empty plastic bags to recycling drop off centers or retailers and municipalities (curbside collection also) that provide designated plastic bag recycling. Wooden pallets can be reused or recycled at designated wood recycling areas with your municipality.

We believe that all soils should have a required minimum set of testing standards when it comes to growing. That is why we contacted O.M.R.I. years ago to start the process of approving SEA SOIL. We regularly test our SEA SOIL for heavy metals, ecoli and even fecal coliforms to make sure SEA SOIL is the best choice for gardeners and growers.
